Pope Francis consecrates pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima

Pope Francis has asked Cardinal José Policarpo of Lisbon to dedicate his pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima. Cardinal Policarpo confirmed the Pope's request at a meeting of the Portuguese bishops' conference. He said that the Pontiff had twice asked him to make the consecration. The cardinal suggested that the entire bishops' conference could join in the act of consecration.Additional sources for this story
